As you know, ICD-10 clinical documentation is going into effect on October 1^st, 2015, and all diagnosis codes used for billing carriers must be in ICD-10 format from that date forward. Since many case documents (like evaluations and care plans) prepared prior to that date will be using ICD-9 codes, this transition could be challenging. We want you to know that ClinicSource is dedicated to making the conversion a seamless one for your practice. We’ve already prepopulated our diagnosis code library with the most popular ICD-10 code software for speech therapy and will automatically update your software to keep you current.

Further, mappings from ICD-9 to ICD-10 codes for speech therapy where 1-1 mapping was present have already been populated in our ICD-10 code library. We have also implemented an automated ICD-9 to ICD-10 mapping algorithm in the visits page, to automatically perform the ICD-10 implementation for you.
